How this all came about...
I have a magnificent obsession. Food. Feeding people great homemade baked goods makes me happy, and I love to eat it...but after being 220 pounds that had to stop! I picked up a book one day called, “Skinny Bitch, by Rory Freedman”. I thought to myself, “Who names their book Skinny Bitch?” I read it, and I will never look at animal products the same again. A must read!
Celiac. A genetic disorder that affects 1/133 of Americans, and most go undiagnosed, including myself. Food Intolerance's. Affecting a whopping 1/7! I started working with gluten free flours and suddenly a lot of my own issues made sense. Only a short time after being both vegan and gluten free I felt simply amazing.
Many have taken to eating a more healthy diet, and it just proves that you don't have to have celiac disease or an autistic child.
