How this all came about...
I have a magnificent obsession. Food. Feeding people great homemade baked goods makes me happy, and I love to eat it...but after being 220 pounds that had to stop! I picked up a book one day called, “Skinny Bitch, by Rory Freedman”. I thought to myself, “Who names their book Skinny Bitch?” I read it, and I will never look at animal products the same again. A must read!
Celiac. A genetic disorder that affects 1/133 Americans, and most go undiagnosed, including myself. I started working with gluten free flours and suddenly a lot of my own issues made sense. We are a dedicated team of people who want to bring a healthier alternative to our community. Scott Seibel is an amazing chef who owned his own bakery for the last 3 years. He was looking to sell it, and that's how we met.
I brought him a vegan gluten-free waffle sample, and told him my vision. He liked my direction and my product, so we teamed up to bring you Azna Gluten Free! Scott is not a Celiac, nor vegan, but he understands the importance of gluten free vegan baking with wholesome unprocessed organic ingredients.
He has created amazing muffins and cakes and breads that leave our customers coming back begging for more, whether they are gluten free, vegan, or neither! Scott is just as passionate about our products as I am, and together we will bring you exceptional baked goods free from refined sugars and hydrogenated fats, but chock full of whole ingredients that are good for you and taste like a slice of heaven.
